Kids, Garth, and the Email Tough Guy

So quickly on my lunch break, I have some great stuff to throw out there.

Angie sent another great phrase, Email Tough Guy. Thanks for this one, I already used it today. And we all have those people in our lives that fit this bill. Usually someone we report to, but those people who are amazing behind that monitor but seem to forget what they said when you see them in real life. Usually, these people are 5 foot 5 and under. At least the guys are. My last job had quite a few of those people. how I miss them. Before their hearts get all warm, I have found a whole new crop of them here. Amazing how the more things change, the more they stay the same... I think everyone that reads this should try to insert this phrase into their conversations today.

Yes, Kristy, I will no longer make fun of you and Nate and your strange ways with your children. While I used to mock your "schedule" with your children, I take it all back. i used to think you guys were overly anal about getting to family get togethers at specific times due to your child's sleep schedule. I thought you 2 were odd for a lot of other reasons, but I am only taking the children stuff back. now that Maddie runs our life, I see things much different. Gone are the spur of the moment trips to Florida, now we plan for a month, pack 5 suitcases, and are anxious for weeks about the flight. Gone are the late nights during the week or weekend for that matter. Nevermind, we still have the late nights, it just is filled with 30 versus of Freddy Bear the Teddy Bear. I never saw myself singing those songs, well not while I was sober at least.

Finally, everyone out there that is still working, I feel your pain. Once I leave here it is 2 hours home and I have to go to class tonight. Yes, my teacher is making us attend class tonight. I thought teachers were always patriotic, but I am changing my belief today. Now that is reserved solely for police, firefights, veterans, and blue collar workers who break their backs making this country run while listening to a little Garth Brooks and Kenny Chesney. I am guessing none of them read this blog, but just in case...
